ANALISA PERFORMA POMPA AIR DC 12V 42 WATT TERHADAP VARIASI KEDALAMAN PIPA MENGGUNAKAN BATERAI DENGAN SUMBER ENERGI DARI MATAHARI
Water is one of the basic needs for every human being, the availability of water is a problem for humans. As a developing country, Indonesia has a large enough water consumption power in daily life. So far, irrigation is carried out using a water pump, usually using an electric water pump whose power is large from PLN electricity. In addition to the source of electrical energy needed is very large and the price of water pumps is increasingly expensive, it is necessary to develop alternative energy, a very large alternative energy source is energy from the sun. Therefore, the authors conducted research on DC water pumps that use electrical energy from the sun. This research is to determine the performance of the DC 12V 42 watt water pump against variations in pipe depths of 0.5 meters, 1 meter and 1.5 meters. Observations made were related to the testing of loaded and unloaded solar panels, testing of the DC water pump and the resulting water discharge. The results obtained are the greater the depth of the water pump input pipe, the greater the power required by the water pump, but the time to fill the vessel will be longer and cause the water discharge to be smaller.
