PERENCANAAN PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA GELOMBANG SUNGAI MUSI PALEMBANG MENGGUNAKAN GENERATOR MAGNET PERMANEN
Along with the increasing demand for electrical energy and the development of energy from natural resources in Indonesia, it is necessary to plan alternative power plants. Water has potential energy to help plan this power plant, one of which is the potential of river water. This plan is adjusted to the wave height data on the Musi River, Palembang, precisely at Ampera Pier, with an average minimum height of 0.15 m and a maximum of 0.21 m. The generator in this study was designed with a permanent magnet design, with the use of permanent magnets that move translationally. The movement of the magnet also occurs from the impulse of the water wave which causes the magnet to approach the stator coil and produces an induced electromotive force on the generator. 6 generators are used where each generator contains 4 Neodymium Magnets with a coil of 1500 turns on each generator, the induced voltage is temporarily stored in a capacitor in each generator and the 6 generators will be connected in series. The results of the last calculation of the induced emf multiplied by the coil and the number of turns were obtained with the final calculation result of 18.17 volts. With a note that the calculation results of PLTGS planning do not count and ignore losses. Based on the results of this study, it is concluded that the PLTGS planning produces a voltage
