The purpose of this study wcis to determine how the implementation of the use of accounting Information Systems in organizations, especially cooperatives, especially its co-operative schools in the city of Palembang. This study takes a case study, implementation of accounting iInformation syslems in cooperative Vocational Senior High School Number One Palembang. The data used are primary data derived from observations directly to the object, the Cooperative of Vocational Senior High School Number One Palembang and interviews with the parties - parties related t o the cooperative. And secondary data derived from the liter atur e related t o accounting Information Systems. The method of analysis used is using System Development Life Cycle approach (SDLC). Stages used in this study w as started from System Analysis, Conceptual Design, and Physical Design. After the analysis is known that the application of accounting information systems at the Cooperative of Vocational Senior High School Number One Palembang, not quite maximal. So that the resulting information has not been able to provide the cooperative's financial condition accurately. By providing an alternative system of the new accounting information related to the cooperative process of reporting can improve the quality of financial reporting information cooperative itself.
