This resecirch is a study case on the District Government of OKU, South OKU and East OKU with the title "Performance Finance Assessment of Local Government in OKU Regency, South OKU and East OKU by using Value for Money". The purpose of this study is to assess the financial performance of local government in the OKU Regency, South OKU and East OKU by using value for money, whether the performance of the three district s have been economical, efficient and effective. The analysis data techniques is using value for money. The r e suit s of this study indicate t ha t the economic level on the District of OKU, South OKU and East OKU for 2008 and 2009 have shown a good economic level because the percentage below 100%. Based on the level of efficiency, OKU district has a better level of efficiency than South OKU and East OKU because the percentage below 100%. The district of East OKU i n 2008 can not efficiently where the rates of 100.52% but in 2009 has been efficient because the percentage is below 100%. Whereas, the performance of South OKU bot h in 2008 and in 2009 was not efficient because the percentage above 100%. Based on the level of effectiveness, the overall of the effectiveness percentage of OKU, South OKU and East OKU in 2008 and 2009 have shown a good effectiveness level because the percentage above 100%. Based on the effectiveness of local tax East OKU Regency has a better percentage than the OKU and South OKU district. For local retribution effectiveness, other legitimate PAD and the results of the wealth management area that separated, South OKU Regency has a better percentage of effectiveness than the OKU and East OKU. Based on the research, I recommend that the district government of OKU, South OKU and East OKU to increase the economic, efficiency, and effectiveness level and to improve the local public Services so that revenues can be increased and created a transparent and accountable governance.
