Library design is no longer a place to borrow books but rather a source or seek information. With incomplete and inadequate services, it is necessary to develop this library that a library must be able to adapt to the current times and still be able to access, and also maintain a rare collection. The library cannot be detached from the collection. Without a library collection will not run well and effectively. Therefore, technology is needed to protect the collection. In addition, facilities and infrastructure are very important that must be fulfilled by the library. But there are 3 most important things in the management of facilities, namely: Comfortable, open, and user friendly. In designing the College Library, the interior of the building will use a modern style. A single mass shape for the use of narrow land, with rigid frame structures for the middle structure, and the use of flat truss wide-span roofs. And reading room and book collection arrangement becomes important in reflecting the main purpose, namely by providing comfort with reading. Stable natural lighting system and artificial air conditioning for more comfort.
