ANALISIS PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA PIKOHIDRO (PLTPH) TERHADAP DAYA KELUARAN DENGAN MEMANFAATKAN AIR KELUARAN POMPA AKUARIUM
Energy sources that are often used for electricity generation are non-renewable energy sources which, if used continuously, will run out such as oil, natural gas, and coal. Thus, renewable energy sources are needed whose supplies are abundant and do not run out quickly, one of which is water energy. In this study, the use of water from the aquarium pump will be used to drive a waterwheel coupled to a generator, where later the kinetic energy of the waterwheel will be converted into electrical energy by a generator. Because this plant uses a small water discharge, it is called a pico-hydro power plant (PLTPH). In this study, measurements of water discharge, voltage and current will be carried out. These tests and measurements were carried out once a day for 7 days using a multimeter, measuring cup and stopwatch. Based on these tests, the amount of water discharge will affect the voltage, current, and output power of the resulting generator, namely on day 1 with a maximum water discharge value of 0.0003633 m^3/s producing a voltage, current, and output power of 12.08 Volts, 0.142 Ampere, and 1.7153 Watts. Meanwhile, on the 7th day the water discharge produced was at a minimum value, because on that day the condition of the aquarium water had started to be dirty, cloudy and foggy and started to turn green. As a result, the pump's ability to suck water is not optimal as on day 1 because the waterwheel on the pump is blocked by dirt so that the water discharge produced by the pump is of a small or minimum value of 0.00015 m^3/s which produces voltage, current and output power values generator of 6.36 Volts, 0.101 Ampere, and 0.6423 Watts.
