As an alternative to limited fossil energy, humans are trying to create energy-producing tools. The means of converting energy into other forms of energy are called transducers. For example Piezoelectric which can receive input in the form of sound or vibration. Piezoelectric produces low power, therefore the author uses a boost converter to increase the power of Piezoelectric. This study uses acircuit configuration Piezoelectric series and parallelto compare the current, voltage and output power of the circuit without and using a boost converter. This study uses the weight of men's footsteps with productive age 19- 22 years with weight variations of 57 Kg, 62 Kg, 67 Kg, 72 Kg and 77 Kg. At the same weight (77 Kg) current, voltage and power resulting from the series and parallel circuit configurations without using a boost converter in succession namely 0.18 mA and 0.76 mA, 1.498 V and 1.014 V and 2.6964 x 10-4 W and 7.7064 x 10-4 W. As for the series and parallel circuits using a boost converter, the current, voltage, and power are 0.14 mA and 0.57 mA, 4.63 V and 3.01 V and 6.482 x 10-4 W and 17,157 x 10-4 W. The parallel circuit current is greater than the series current because the parallel circuit current is the sum of the currents in the circuit while in a series circuit the total current is equal to the current each circuit, but inversely proportional to the voltage. So it can be concluded that the largest voltage and power values are generated in the prototype using a boost converter. This is due to the function of the boost converter itself as a voltage booster. But thecurrent output is smaller than thecurrent input. The output power on thePrototype is Piezoelectric directly proportional to the pressure applied, if the weight is greater, the pressure will be even greater so that the output power generated will be even greater.
