The potential for water energy in Indonesia is very large, so based on this, a research on the design prototype was of a pico-hydro power plantcarried out by varying the height of the water fall and water discharge to meet the consumption of electric power on a very small scale. In this study, a pico-hydro power plant was designed using 8 horizontal turbines, with the main components being water pumps, windmills, pulleys, and generators. In measuring the water discharge, an Arduino Uno microcontroller is used by varying the faucet openings, namely full, 2/3, 1/3 and variations in the height of the water fall by 18 cm, 22.5 cm, and 27 cm by using a pipe length that varies by 20 cm. cm, 25 cm and 30 cm and uses a 220 volt 3 watt LED lamp load. The greater the flow of water used, the greater the voltage and current generated, this is influenced by kinetic energy and the greater the discharge of water that comes out of the nozzle, the more water that presses the blades of each waterwheel, so the water is getting stronger pushing the wheel to spin more fast. Then the greater the height of the water used, the greater the power generated, this is influenced by potential energy because the height of the water fall is directly proportional to the potential energy. So that it can be seen that the difference in the value of voltage, current, power and efficiency produced, namely the largest voltage and current is found in the highest water drop height in the experiment, which is 27 cm with the largest water discharge in the experiment of 24 l / min, namely with a value of 163 Volts and Current of 0.0195 Ampere. The greatest power and efficiency are found in the highest water drop height in the experiment, which is 27 cm with the largest water discharge in the experiment at 24 l / min, with a value of 2.54 Watt and an efficiency of 39.3%.
