PENGARUH DIAMETER LUBANG PELAT ALUMINIUM COMPOSITE PANEL PADA FOTOVOLTAIK JENIS POLIKRISTAL TERHADAP DAYA LUARAN
This study aims to determine the effect of the hole diameter on cooling plate on output power for polycrystalline type solar panels. When the radiation increased, then the temperature of solar panels also increased which result in decreased solar panel output power. To overcome this, a cooling system that can reduce the temperature of the solar panels is needed so as to increase the output power of solar panels. This study used perforated aluminium composite panel plate as cooling system placed on the back of solar panels, with variations in hole diameters of 10 mm, 12.5 mm, and 15 mm with plate dimensions of 90 cm × 60 cm × 2 cm. The number of holes on the plate is 1.515. In this study, 4 units of polycrystalline solar panels were used with 100 Wp capacity. The research that has been done shown that the larger the hole diameter in the cooling plate, the greater the temperature decrease in the panel, which result in an increased the power output. This can be seen in the result of research where the highest output power is produced by solar panels installed with 15 mm hole diameter of cooling plate with 65,20 Watts output power and the lowest output power is produced by solar panel without cooling plate installed with 46,84 Watts output power.
