Based on the hydrogeological condition of Tanjung Lubuk District, the entire area is included in the Palembang-Kayuagung Groundwater Basin. Because of this, it is hoped that below the surface of the land in Tanjung Lubuk District, there will be layers that can store and drain water or are called aquifers. The results of 1D geoelectric measurements in Ulak Kapal Village, which have a endapan rawa formation, are found on the cross 1 (ULK-01) 68 meters long, 92 meters long cross 2 (ULK-02) and 80 meters horizontal (ULK-03) 80 meters long. depth between 12,3 – 35,0 meters with resistivity ranging from 61,1 – 69,2 ohm meters. From these results it is likely that a layer of sand is expected to be able to store and drain water (aquifer). The results of 1D geoelectric measurements in Pengarayan Village which have a kasai formation, on cross 1 (PGR-01) and cross 2 (PGR-02), respectively Each 100 meters long there is no water-carrying layer (aquifer). The groundwater flow system in this area based on its topography tends to lead from west to east with a more gentle landscape and also from east to west with a slightly steeper landscape. Based on the well water level and bottom well water obtained from community wells, the groundwater flow system tends to lead from south to north and a little to the east and from north to south a little to the west. With an area of 22.266 hectares and 7.470 hectares, it is a fire prone area, where the west side, from north to south, is the most fire prone area among other areas. The western region is mostly forest and land areas that have the same geological formation as Ulak Kapal Village, namely swamp sediment formations so that they may have layers with the same groundwater potential even though at different depths.
