KOMUNIKASI PERSUASIF OMBUDSMAN RI PERWAKILAN SUM-SEL DALAM MENCEGAH MALADMINISTRASI OLEH PENYELENGGARA PELAYANAN PUBLIK DI KOTA PALEMBANG
The title of this research is “Persuasive Communication of Ombudsman RI Perwakilan Sumsel in Preventing Maladministration Conduct by Agent of Public Service in Palembang”. The aim of this research is to identity persuasive communication practiced by Ombudsman RI Perwakilan Sumsel as a government institution that has incharged as magister of influence in preventing maladministration by agent of public service in Palembang. Theory used in this research is persuasive communication theory from David G. Myers (2012), by using descriptive qualitative method. The data is gained from in depth interview with 3 key informants and 3 supporting informants, observing, and documentationstudy. The result of this research shows that persuasive communication practiced by Ombudsman RI Perwakilan Sumsel has fulfilled the elements of persuasive communication, that are communicator, message, how the message is communicated, and audience. In order to do persuasive communication, Ombudsman RI Perwakilan Sumsel should pay more attention to its media management.
