MANAJEMEN KRISIS HOTEL SANTIKA PREMIERE BANDARA PALEMBANG DALAM MENGHADAPI PANDEMI COVID-19
This research aims to determine the crisis management of the Public Relations to the Hotel Santika Premiere Bandara Palembang in amid of the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses the theory of crisis management according to Rhenald Kasali, with a qualitative descriptive method. The process of collecting research data carried out in-depth interviews, observations and documentation studies. Santika Premiere Palembang Airport Hotel has experienced a crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and has carried out crisis management in it. Managing a crisis through crisis management can minimize the impact of a wider crisis occurring at Hotel Santika Premiere Bandara Palembang. The results of this study show that Public Relations of Hotel Santika Premiere Bandara Palembang has carried out and managed the crisis caused by the covid-19 pandemic. This is evidenced by the compatibility between the application of crisis management carried out by Hotel Santika Premiere Bandara Palembang with that research by Rhenald Kasali. Public Relations of Hotel Santika Premiere Bandara Palembang manages the crisis by conducting crisis identification, crisis analysis, crisis isolation, strategy choices, and control programs. At the crisis identification stage, it focuses on strengthening the hotel's internal and conducting regular socialization with PT. Graha Wita Santika as the company that oversees Hotel Santika Premiere Bandara Palembang. At the crisis analysis stage, it focuses on how to read the situation that occurred during the covid-19 pandemic assisted by the media as an accurate source of information to assist the analysis process. In the isolation stage of the crisis, Hotel Santika Premiere Bandara Palembang choose to temporarily close as a form of support to the goverment to reduce the spread of the covid-19 virus and to convince the public that Hotel Santika Premiere Bandara Palembang was not a cluster to the virus. At the strategy choice stage, Hotel Santika Premiere Bandara Palembang choose to use an adaptive strategy, namely by changing policies, operating modifications and maintaining public image. At the control program stage, Hotel Santika Premiere Bandara Palembang seeks to continue to convince the public that Hotel Santika Premiere Bandara Palembang is a safe place to visit during the covid-19 pandemic through releases and the use of social media to spread information.
