PT. Bukit Asam Tarahan Port Unit is one of the ports that function as a coal
stockpile with the main activity being coal loading and unloading operations.
During these operational activities, several negative environmental impacts can
occur, such as decreasing water quality, decreasing air quality and causing noise,
B3 waste, self-burning, and decreasing soil quality. To overcome these impacts, it
is important to carry out regular stockpile environmental management activities.
The reference used in stockpile environmental management is based on the rules
of the Republic of Indonesia Law which is implemented in PTBA Tarahan Port
Unit, based on the Environmental Management Plan (RKL) document that has
been approved by: Chairman of the EIA Assessment Commission of Lampung
Province with Letter Number: 660/30 /II.04/2014 and Lampung Governor's
Decree No: G/149/II.05/HK/2015 concerning Environmental Permits for Planned
Activities for the Development of Tarahan Port in Srengsem Village, Panjang
District, Bandar Lampung City, Lampung Province. The success rate of
environmental management is assessed based on the sampling results obtained and
compared with the value of the Environmental Quality Standard (BML) which
refers to the regulations of the Republic of Indonesia Law that apply to the
company. These management activities also require funds to maximize coal
stockpile environmental management activities. Environmental Management
Financial Report at PT. Bukit Asam Tbk was made in accordance with the Decree
of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 1806 K30/MEM/2018. The
realization of the use of funds in TW.II is Rp. 18.291.000,- or 104.51% of the cost
plan. This increase was due to the construction of a new WWTP that had been
damaged previously, in order to ensure maximum sustainability of environmental
management.
