Thailand and several other ASEAN member countries have had close economic ties for decades, China has been a competing economic influence in Southeast Asia since 2000 and China continues to increase its influence over ASEAN member countries including Thailand. Thailand's top three exports as a whole are cassava, sugar and fruits. The approaches used in this research are:theory free trade Adam Smith'swhich refers to its reference to certain activities such as trade activities, international production and consumption activities. While the method used in this study is a qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that the economic cooperation between Thailand and China in the agricultural sector under the ACFTA framework has not shown an increasing trend. This can be seen through two dimensions, (a) Trade Performance: the implementation of ACFTA can increase the trade value of Thailand and China, because with the ACFTA agreement, it should have a positive impact on competitive Thai producers by opening up market expansion to China. (b) Production Performance: Thailand's agricultural commodity production in the last five years (2015-2019) showed an increasing trend, although not significant, but Thailand was only able to supply less than 10 percent of the market for agricultural commodities in the Southeast Asia region, this can be seen from the figures Export Growth to China, which reached -28%, shows that Thailand has not been optimal in taking advantage of the potential and opportunities of international markets, especially for countries that are members of the ACFTA cooperation. Keywords: Asean-China Free Trade Area, Production Performance, Import Export Performance, Trade Performance, Free Trade
