ANALISIS PENGARUH PROMOSI TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN SISWA MEMILIH SMA KUSUMA BANGSA PALEMBANG
The objectives of this research are 1) knowing the influence of promotion to student’s decision in choosing Senior High School of Kusuma Bangsa Palembang and 2) knowing dominant promotion strategy that influencing student’s decision in choosing Senior high school of Kusuma Bangsa Palembang. The method used is simple random sampling, therefore, from the total homogen population, 82 respondents are taken as the sample. Analysis model used in quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. Results of research indicate that according to the result of regression analysis to five variables (advertising, personal of selling, promotion sales, public relation, and word of mouth), it is found that there are only two variables of promotion that influencing student’s decision in Choosing Senior high school of Kusuma Bangsa Palembang. These factors are public relation, and word of mouth, which is word of mouth is the dominantfactor that influencing student’s decision in choosing Senior high school of Kusuma Bangsa Palembang. The management of Senior high school of Kusuma Bangsa Palembang has to increase the promotion’s innovation and the Service’s quality to fulfill needs and wants of the students, so that they could get maximal satisfaction.
