The final project, essay, or thesis is the final step for students at the campus. One of the challenges in writing a thesis is finding sources of knowledge, either explicit or tacit. The Reading Room of Computer Science Faculty at Sriwijaya University is one of the sources of knowledge in Faculty of Computer Science Sriwijaya University. However, the different location of knowledge makes it difficult for students to seek knowledge. Knowledge sharing about how to make the thesis is also not optimal and not documented. With the Knowledge Management System, using string matching with the Horspool algorithm can help the knowledge searching process. And the Web 2.0 feature is considered to add functionality to the system with a discussion forum so the knowledge sharing process can run. The 10-step knowledge management roadmap by Amrit Tiwana (1999) used for method in system development. The application build on the website platform and use the PHP programming language with the Codeigniter 3 framework. Application build with features like adding knowledge, knowledge verification, knowledge searching, and discussion forum After development and testing for measure the algorithm performance by measuring precision and recall, obtained result 1 for precision and 0.97 for recall
