PERKEMBANGAN PENYAKIT HAWAR DAUN (Exserohilum turcicum) TERHADAP PENGGUNAAN PUPUK Azolla pinnata DAN PUPUK KASGOT PADA TANAMAN JAGUNG (Zea Mays)
Corn (Zea mays) is an important commodity after rice in Indonesia. One of the factors to increase in maize productivity is due to the presence of important diseases of corn plants such as leaf blight caused by E. turcicum. It can be control by fulfilling the nutrients. Both of A. pinnata and black soldier flies frass fertilizer are organic fertilizers that are well known usually use to help the fulfillment needs of soil organic matter. The purpose of this research is to see the effect of using Azolla pinnata and black soldier flies frass fertilizers on the development of corn plants and leaf blight disease. Experimental design used was Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 5 (five) treatments and 5 (five) replications. The main method is control (P1). Chicken manure (P2), A. pinnata fertilizer (P3), black soldier flies frass fertilizer (P4) and black soldier flies frass fertilizer mixed chicken manure (P5). The observed parameter was the severity of disease with 5 observations. The results of this research show that the use of various fertilizers has an effect on the development of blight and E. turcicum disease compared to control treatment. Black soldier flies frass fertilezer have the more effect than A. pinnata fertilizer on the weight of the corncobs.
