The objectives of this study are: (1), Measuring the condition of sustainable livelihood capital which includes human capital, natural resource capital, social capital , financial capital and physical capital of rawa lebak rice farmers in Naikan Tembakang Village, Pemulutan Selatan Sub-district, Ogan Ilir Regency. (3), Identifying what economic activities are carried out by farmers as sustainable livelihood strategy in the face of low rice farming income and its contribution to households. The research was conducted in Naikan Tembakang Village , Pemulutan Selatan Sub-district, Ogan Ilir Regency, (3), Calculating how much income of Rawa lebak Rice Farming Business in Naikan Tembakang Village, Pemulutan Selatan Sub-district, Ogan Ilir Regency and their contribution to the household. this location was chosen deliberately. The method used in this research is a survey method, the primary data and secondary data collected in the field is processed tabulation later described descriptively, according objectives to be achieved. The sampling method used in this study is purposive sampling. The results of research conducted in the field show that the condition of human capital, natural resource capital, social capital, financial capital and physical capital of swampy lowland rice farmers in Naikan Tembakang Village , Pemulutan Selatan Sub- district , Ogan Ilir Regency is at moderate level with the index value obtained amounted to 0.59. The activities carried out by swampy lowland rice farmers in Naikan Tembakang Village, as a sustainable livelihood strategy in the face of low income from rice farming, consist of two types, namely non- rice farming and large farming activities, and their contribution to households. The total average households income of rawa lebak rice farmers in the naikan tembakang village amounted is Rp36.095774 per year, , the average non- Rice Farming Business income is Rp3.370.333 per year, while for non- Rice Farming Business income is Rp22.820.000 per year. the average income from Rice Farming Business results amounted is Rp9.572.007 per large arable per year, the contribution of farming to household non-rice farming amounted to 10.26 percent, he contribution of income to households is 63.22 percent, the category of medium criteria, contribution to the households is 26.52 percent, the category of medium.
