POPULASI PENGGEREK BUAH KOPI (Hypothenemus hampei Ferr.) DI BERBAGAI KETINGGIAN PERANGKAP CORONG MERAH TUNGGAL PADA PERTANAMAN KOPI DI KELURAHAN BUMI AGUNG KECAMATAN DEMPO UTARA KOTA PAGARALAM
This study aims to determine the effect of the height of a red single funnel trap on the number of trapped H. hampei adult, the percentage of damaged coffee berries, and the estimated effectiveness of various trap heights. This research was conducted in smallholder coffee plantation in Bumi Agung Sub-District, Dempo Utara District, Pagaralam City, South Sumatra Province, with an area of ± 5000 m2. The research stages included assembling and installing traps, taking and calculating trapped H. hampei adult, calculating the percentage of damaged coffee berries and analyzing the estimated effectiveness of various trap heights using the survival analysis method (Kaplan-Meier). Trapping in the field used a randomized block design consisting of five treatments and four replications. The results showed that the height of the trap did not significantly affect the number of H. hampei adult trapped with the highest average of 247.5 individuals at 180 cm height treatment. The height of the trap has a significant effect on the percentage of damaged coffee berries. The highest percentage of damaged coffee berries was found in the treatment with a height of 120 cm, namely 34%. The results of the survival analysis (Kaplan-Meier) showed that each treatment of a red single funnel trap height had the opportunity to trap a population of H. hampei adult 0-200 individuals, namely 100% during the study time. In addition, 180 cm high traps were effective in trapping H. hampei populations> 600 - 800 individuals 3 - 7 weeks after trapping.
