PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF BERBASIS MOBILE DENGAN PEMANFAATAN TEKNOLOGI AUGMANTED REALITY PADA PELAJARAN BIOLOGI KELAS XI (SEBELAS) SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS
Indonesian people's reading interest is very lower than other countries, in researches conducted in 2016 Indonesia was in the lowest position, which is in 61 of the 62 countries examined. Students are one of the largest subjects that can be studied in this study, recorded in the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2018 the number of Indonesian students from elementary to high school equivalents reached more than 45 million people. In general, one of the factors is textbooks are still less interactive and the student's environment for smartphones. Biology subject is one of the fields of science studied by high school students (SMA), in its application it is often difficult for students to study the pictures in textbooks because they are 2-dimensional and in some cases only use black, plus props which can only be used during practical lessons. To solved this problem, the author is interested in making interactive learning media applications using augmented reality technology which are expected to answer the above problems. The research this time used the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method with pretest and posttest testing methods. The results of this study showed an increase in students' reading interest by 41%. Prior to the pretest interactive test, the average reading interest of students was 68.41% after being given learning media and the posttest testing of students' reading interest changed to 89.52%.
