The role of technology and information systems in companies or organizations today is needed to support the success of existing business processes in the company or organization. The Technology and Information Sector of the South Sumatra Regional Police certainly has its own technology and information system. Where, the South Sumatra Regional Police's IT sector includes a leadership assistant element in the field of informatics, including information technology and electronic communication under the National Police Chief. In order to provide services to the public more quickly as stated in the Vision for the Information Technology Sector (POLDA Sumsel). The National Police has launched the POLISIKU application, which is an intermediary application for police assistance to the public. In order to keep the application running without any hindrance, a risk assessment process is needed to minimize the risk of the technology or information system being faced. NIST SP 800-30 is a standard that contains guidelines for conducting risk assessments in an organization. The NIST SP 800-30 Rev.1 framework provides guidance, recommendations and considerations in ensuring risk assessment.
