Multi Data Palembang is still ineffective, calculations are still done manually, the process of giving employees annual bonuses takes a long time, and the criteria used in the assessment are only based on the attendance criteria and employee assessments, while there are other criteria that can be used in the assessment to be objective and fair. Another problem, if there are cases of employees who have abilities that are not much different or even exactly the same, this problem sometimes makes it so difficult for the assessor to make a final decision and end up making a subjective assessment. PT. Multi Data Palembang in the process of determining permanent employees using the Technique For Other Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution method which is a method of decision making using the principle that the chosen alternative must have the closest distance from the positive ideal solution and the longest (farthest) distance from negative ideal solution from a geometric point of view using Euclidean distance (distance between two points) to determine the relative proximity of an alternative. From the comparison to the relative distance, the alternative priority arrangement that can be achieved with the TOPSIS alternative.
