This research was conducted with the aim of making a cashier application at a restaurant called Warung Pojok Sate Mas Sis. At the restaurant, payment transactions are still very simple, with the use of a calculator to calculate the number of purchases, making sales reports that are less effective, such as using paper and stationery media and the absence of a purchase receipt required by each customer.Based on these problems the author designed a web-based cashier application using the PHP programming language and the CodeIgniter framework. The software development model used is the waterfall model. The result of this research is a computerized web-based cashier application. The benefits of the cashier application are that it can make it easier for owners and employees to calculate the number of purchase transactions more quickly and accurately, minimize errors and calculation time, generate sales reports and purchase notes automatically
