this study focuses on a system to support recommendation decisions in the selection of permanent employees at PT.Bona Dupang Soaloon. in the transation process of changing the status of contract employees to permanent employees, it is assessed from various aspects of the criteria, namely performance, education, absenteeism, length of work and loyality. to make comparisons between several candidates.then the performance appraisal data is still stored in the form arcived/emloyee logbooks so that data can be lost and the search process often experiences difficulties. This study aims to implement a logical and fair assessment process so that employees and companies do not feel harmed either morally or materially and this system will reduce errors in the process of determining the final score. This study resulted in a decision support system for recommendation of permanent employee appointments using the simple additive weighting(SAW) method which is accurate and on target so as to get prospective permanent employees who deserve to get a change in employee status based on predetermined criteria and assessment options. keyword:Simple Additive Weighting,Decision Support System, Permanent Employees.
