ANALISIS STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN UPJA DI DESA PELABUHAN DALAM KECAMATAN PEMULUTAN KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR

This study aims to determine strategies in developing UPJA in order to improve the welfare of farmers in Pelabuhan Dalam Village. This research was conducted in Pelabuhan Dalam Village, Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. This research was conducted from January 2021 to April 2021. The parameters observed in this study were the establishment of the UPJA, the role of the institution, the development of UPJA, and the problem of UPJA development. The results of these parameters were then analyzed using SWOT followed by AHP analysis. The results of this study were the main priority strategies in the SWOT analysis in the form of Strength-Threat (ST) with a weight of 3.67. The results of this SWOT analysis were then continued to the AHP analysis to find the priority order of alternative strategies in UPJA development. The results of AHP analysis were the main priority of alternative development strategies with the application Expert Choice 11 in the form of the relationship between UPJA management and farmer groups with the highest weight of 0.294. The second priority of the UPJA development strategy alternatives was the formation of cooperatives and rice production. The third priority of the UPJA development strategy alternatives was to better utilize of funds. The fourth priority of UPJA development strategy alternatives was running and maintaining agricultural machinery. The fifth priority of the UPJA development strategy alternatives was to develop innovation.
