DINAMIKA MUKA AIR UNTUK BUDIDAYA PADI (Oryza sativa L.) PADA MUSIM TANAM PERTAMA (MT1) DI LAHAN PASANG SURUT TIPOLOGI C
The purpose of this study is to examine the dynamics of the water level and drain water for rice cultivation (Orya sativa L.) in the first planting season (MT1) at tidal land typology C using a piscal board which functions to measure level of the drain water and pipe wells which functions to measure the groundwater level. This research was conducted in tidal land typology C Delta Telang I tertiary block 8 Telang Jaya Village P8-2S Muara Telang District Banyuasin Regency in the first planting season with an interval of 13 October 2020 to 30 January 2021. The method used in this study was a survey and direct observation to the field on a 16 Ha rice field plot by taking three soil samples at a depth of 0-30 cm as much as 1 kg to check the chemical and physical properties in the laboratory. The results of this study indicate that the management of the water system network at the tertiary level greatly influences the water needs of rice plants during the first planting season (MT1) where the first planting season is the peak of the rainy season for one year so that it greatly determines the amount of milled dry unhulled rice production (GKG) of rice plants in tidal land typology C. SEW-20 is the sum of the water table with a depth of 20 cm for rice cultivation and expressed in units of cm a day. The SEW-20 value shows a positive value which means surplus with an average number of cumulative calculations of wells 1 is 1817 and wells 2 is 1644 which indicates the dominant water level at a figure above -20 cm. This indicates that the water level in the land is still normal and safe for the growth of rice plants.
