PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN UNTUK PENERIMAAN PANITIA PEMILIHAN KECAMATAN (PPK) MENGGUNAKAN METODE WEIGHTED PRODUCT (WP) (Studi Kasus : Komisi Pemilihan Umum Kabupaten Ogan Ilir)
The implementation of quality elections is one of the problems in the development of democracy in Indonesia. One of the important factors to overcome this problem is the existence of the KPU. The KPU of Ogan Ilir Regency holds general elections/regional head elections (once every 5 years). To help carry out its duties, the KPU has formed a general election committee/regional head election by holding open recruitment, one of which is the acceptance of the ad hoc Sub-District Election Committees (PPK). The criteria used for the interview test are integrity, professionalism, members of the general election/regional head elections, education level, certificates for general elections/regional head elections, affiliation with political parties, and the general election/regional head election success team. The obstacles faced include qualitative subcriteria where there is no standard assessment of the same from the KPU commissioners, the final assessment is obtained by estimating only so that the assessment process tends to be subjective, there is no weighting in the assessment process and it is difficult to compare the final score one by one especially if there is one the same value between prospective members. Therefore, a decision support system is needed at the interview test stage using the WP method, because the WP method is appropriate for the ranking process and has a short computation time so that the final result can minimize the level of subjective assessment and calculations at the interview test stage according to the criteria which has been determined and improves the quality of the decision results in selecting prospective members to become PPK by the recommended interview/ranking test scores processed by the system.
