The research objective was to to analyze the differences the FFA content of CPO produced from Betung Palm Oil Mill, Sungai Lengi Palm Oil Mill, and Talang Sawit Palm Oil Mill. The research also evaluated changes in the FFA content of CPO PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII Sumatera Selatan during delivery from the mill to the storage tank and during storage in the storage tank.
The research was conducted by collecting data FFA CPO in Instalasi Penimbunan Minyak Sawit dan Gudang Boom Baru and PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII Kantor Penghubung Sumatera Selatan. The research was conducted as a case study and supported with literature study using One-Way ANOVA test to find out the quality of CPO and MANOVA test to determine changes in FFA during delivery, as well as comparing the method of measuring FFA CPO during storage.
The results of this research showed diffrent palm oil mill under PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII produce CPO with diffrent the FFA content. CPO with the lowest FFA content produce from Talang Sawit Palm Oil Mill. Delivey of CPO from palm oil mill give effect to FFA in CPO received in storage tank. Theoretically calculated the FFA content during storage CPO can be done on less than three days sorage. After storage of more than three days, changes in the FFA content more accurately measured by laboratory analysis
