This study discusses "The Role of Village Midwives in the Implementation of the Healthy Living Community Movement (GERMAS) in South Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency". The data contained in this study are primary and secondary data related to the research theme obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative with the use of the concept of role in analyzing and presenting the findings in the field. In this study, the research informants were divided into two, namely the main informants, namely the village midwife and the supporting informants, the participants and the community from the GERMAS program in their respective villages. The results of this study indicate that as village health institutions, village midwives play a role in conveying information, socialization, and motivating the community to be interested and willing to carry out a clean and healthy lifestyle in accordance with the pillars of GERMAS.
