PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN AMPAS TAHU DAN AMPAS KELAPA DALAM RANSUM FERMENTASI TERHADAP PERFORMA AYAM KAMPUNG
The feed is one of the most factors affecting the productivity of ayam kampung. The feed is a crucial role in increasing the productivity of ayam kampung, both in terms of quality and continuous availability. The problem breeder is the high price of commercial feed, therefore it is necessary to find alternative feed raw materials that can support the productivity of ayam kampung, both in terms of quality and quantity. The purpose of this study was to examine the potential of tofu dregs and coconut dregs in fermentation rations on the performance of ayam kampung. This research was conducted from September to October 2019, at the Experimental Cage on Laboratory of Animal Husbandry, Department of Animal Science and Industry, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The research design used a completely randomized design (CRD) method, consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment is : (p0) = control rations, (p1) addition of 9% tofu dregs and 1% coconut dregs in fermented rations, (p2) addition of 18% tofu dregs and 2% coconut dregs in fermented rations, (p3) addition of 27% tofu dregs and 3% coconut dregs in fermented rations, (p4) addition of 36% tofu dregs and 4% coconut dregs in fermented rations. the parameters observed were chicken body weight gain, ration consumption, and ration conversion. The results showed the use of alternative feed tofu dregs up to a level of gauze 36% and 4% coconut dregs in the fermentation ration resulted in the same performance of ayam kampung as rations without tofu and coconut dregs.
