UJI PENGARUH KELENGKUNGAN SINGKAL YANG DILAPISI PLAT KUNINGAN TERHADAP HASIL PENGOLAHAN TANAH ULTISOL DENGAN BERBAGAI KECEPATAN KERJA
This study aims to determine and examine the influence of aluminum-coated single-edge plow curvature on the processing results of Ultisol soil at various working speeds. The research method was the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with two treatment factors: plow curvature angle (A) and working speed (B). Each factor consistend of three treatment levels. The treatment levels for plow curvature angle were 120ᵒ, 130ᵒ, and 140ᵒ, while the treatment levels for working speed were 2 km/h, 3 km/h, and 4 km/h. The result indicated that the single-edge plow curvature angle and working speed significantly influenced the tillage of ultisol soil. The combination of a plow curvature angle of 120ᵒ and a speed of 4 km/h resulted in the lowest average soil stickhess, which was 49g. Meanwhile, the combination of a plow curvature angle of 120ᵒ and a speed of 2 km/h resulted in the highest average plowing depth, plowing output, height, plow cutting width, and overturned soil width, which were 10.50 cm, 10.97 cm, and 20.40 cm, respectively.
