ANALISIS HUBUNGAN TIPE KEPEMIMPINAN TERHADAP KINERJA TENAGA KESEHATAN DI PUSKESMAS WILAYAH KOTA JAMBI TAHUN 2022
Public Health Center (PHC) as the spearhead of primary public health services need quality services to improve health status. This is inseparable from the quality of existing Health Human Resources, good performance will improve the quality of PHC services. The head of the PHC as a leader plays an important role in improving the performance of the civil servant in the PHC he leads, because the role of a leader is very large in mobilizing his subordinates. The type of leadership is considered necessary to study its influence on the performance of health workers in the PHC.The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the type of leadership and the performance of health workers at the Jambi City Health Center which was carried out in 20 Puskesmas in Jambi City in March-April 2022. The results found that the characteristics of the health workers in the Jambi City Health Center were 41-57 years old. (66.7%), female gender (97.4%) and last education D3 (56.4%), choosing the type of leadership chosen (68.4%), motivation from the main country's health (79.5%) , long working future (73.5%) and good performance (65%). There is a significant relationship between the type of leadership and the performance of health workers at the Jambi City Health Center in 2022, where the type of leadership has 2,477 times in influencing performance and the type of non-democratic leadership is a risk factor for poor performance, where democratic leadership is 2.27 times reducing the risk health workers have poor performance. The type of leadership has an effect or influence on improving the performance of health workers in the Jambi City Health Center, therefore the Head of the PHC should be able to apply the type of democratic leadership to the agency he leads and it is necessary to advocate with the Health Office in implementing the right type of leadership for the head of the PHC to improve performance of existing health workers.
