PENGARUH METODA PEMBERIAN AIR DAN KOMPOS BRIKET TERHADAP Na-TANAH, K-TANAH, K-TANAMAN DAN PERTUMBUHAN BIBIT TANAMAN KURMA LULU (Phoenix dactylifera L.) PADA SISTEM PERTANIAN TERAPUNG
Dates are a potential source of food security, the application of water and briquette compost doses can have a good impact on soil quality during the growing period of date palm nurseries. This study aims to determine the effect of the method of watering and briquette compost on Soil Na, K-Soil, K-Plants and the growth of Lulu date palm seedlings. The research began in November 2018 until it was completed at the Laboratory of Chemistry, Biology and Soil Fertility, Department of Soil, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The experimental treatments were arranged in a Split Plot Design with 3 replications. The treatment of how to give water consisted of 2 levels (R1=1cm immersed pot base and R2=diffusion with the stove wick), and the briquette compost treatment consisted of 5 levels (P1=0, P2=100 g in the roots, P3=100 g around the plants, P4=200 g in the roots and P5=200 g around the plants). The results showed that the method of giving water had a significant effect on soil K. The dosage of briquette compost had a significant effect on soil K. The best rotreatment was in the way of giving water with 1cm immersed pot base and a dose of 200 g of briquette compost in increasing soil Na, soil K, plant K, root and leave dry weight compared to control.
