EFEKTIVITAS PROGRAM REHABILITASI BADAN NARKOTIKA NASIONAL PADA PECANDU NARKOBA DI PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
Survey data from the National Narcotics Agency in 2017 showed the prevalence of narcotics abusers in South Sumatra Province was 1.40%, this decreased compared to 2014 which was 1.74%. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analyze effectiveness of the rehabilitation program of the National Narcotics Agency for drug addicts in South Sumatera Province. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Information obtained through in-depth interviews, observation and document review. The informants were rehabilitation officers and drug addicts who had finished undergoing rehabilitation at the Nasional Narcotics Agency of South Sumatera Province. The results showed that the indicators of understanding the program, accuracy of targeting, timeliness of the rehabilitation program, it is good. Meanwhile, from the indicators of program objectives, program barriers were still found, namely patient non-compliance in undergoing the rehabilitation program, patient mindset and distance. From the aspect of facilities and infrastructure, it is quite adequate, but there are things that are still lacking such as a stethoscope and flashlight, only one unit is available and there is no wheelchair. Then from the indicators of real change, the impact of the program on drug addicts after undergoing the rehabilitation program is recovery, normal and acceptable again. In addition, relapse patients are still found due to factors from the patient himself and his environment. It was concluded that the rehabilitation program of the Nasional Narcotics Agency for drug addicts in South Sumatera Province was quite effective but obstacles were still found. It is hoped that the National Narcotics Agency of South Sumatera Province can help drug addicts to recover from drug dependence and be able to return to social life in society.
