Channel planning by using the Manning formula Manning roughness coefficient (n) as one of the parameters that are influenced by the surface roughness of the channel. If the channel is planned to have a surface roughness varies from one side to the other side, also known as composite channel, it would require the equivalent Manning roughness coefficient (ne). This study aims to identify the effect of changes i n flow depth against Manning roughness values. The research was carried out by flowing streams with a base surface and a corrugated fiber glass duet wali and with varying flow depth (the depth of the upper 0.4 m, 0.35 m, 0.3 m, 0.25 m, 0.2 m, and without weir downstream) on the channel model with a square eross-seetion with a width of 0.3 m and channel bottom slope 0.0001. As a control simulation results with Numerical Integration Methods and HEC-RAS 4.1. From the observation that weir profiles backflow occurs (baekwater) with sub-critical flow, whereas without weir happen waterfall (drawdown) with super-critical flow. So that the calculation of the profiles calculated from weir water level downstream and without weir calculated from water level upstream. From the simulation results Numerical Integration Methods tums affects the flow depth variation of Manning roughness values. For weir flow profile, the lower the depth of the flow, the smaller the value of the Manning roughness. In addition to the channel without using the kind of weir because it uses the maximum diseharge, then there is no comparison parameters Manning coefficient. Where the value of the Manning roughness without weir for glass (ngiass =0,0097) and fiber (nfiber = 0,0161). While the HEC-RAS simulation program, the flow profile occurs waterfall (drawdown) is very different from the observations.
