HUBUNGAN KOMUNIKASI TERAPEUTIK DENGAN SELF EFFICACY PADA PECANDU NARKOBA DALAM PROSES KONSELING (STUDI PADA RESIDEN RAWAT JALAN DI BADAN NARKOTIKA NASIONAL KOTA LUBUKLINGGAU)
Counseling is a consultation given by counselor to counselee to overcome problems that related to personal problems, work, education, and mental. In the process, counselor provides messages that can change the counselee's behavior for the better and help to solve their problems. This study aims to determine the relationship between therapeutic communication and self-efficacy for drug addicts in the counseling process for outpatient residents at the National Narcotics Agency of Lubuklinggau. The theory used in this study is The Therapeutic Communication Theory according to Gail W. Stuart and Self Efficacy Theory according to Albert Bandura. The data was collected by using questionnaires and observation techniques. The results showed that there was a relationship between therapeutic communication and self-efficacy for drug addicts at the National Narcotics Agency of Lubuklinggau. The correlation test shows a value of 0.794, meaning that there is a strong relationship between the X variable (therapeutic communication) and the Y variable (self efficacy).
