PEMBERIAN TINDAKAN SUCTION DAN POSISI HEAD UP 30o PADA PASIEN STROKE HEMORAGIK DENGAN MASALAH KEPERAWATAN BERSIHAN JALAN NAPAS TIDAK EFEKTIF
Background: Hemorrhagic stroke is a stroke caused by a ruptured blood vessel in the brain. In cases of hemorrhagic stroke with an acute phase, there may be a sudden loss of consciousness followed by hemiparesis. Patients with decreased consciousness do not have an effective cough reflex resulting in the accumulation of secretions in the airways. One of the non-pharmacological management that can be done in overcoming this is by giving suction action and head up position 30o. Objective: To find out the description of the implementation of professional practice at the Emergency Nursing Station (KGD) which is focused on providing nursing care to hemorrhagic stroke patients based on evidence-based in the NHCU Room of RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Method: The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Results: Based on the results of the study, it was found that the three patients had ineffective airway clearance nursing problems as evidenced by the presence of excess sputum. After the administration of suction and head up position of 30o, the problem of ineffective airway cleaning nursing in the three patients had not been resolved so interventions had to be carried out periodically. Conclusions: Periodic suctioning can be one of the nursing interventions to free the airway in hemorrhagic stroke patients who experience decreased consciousness by accumulating secretions so that the airway becomes adequate and the head-up position of 30o can help maximize oxygen delivery so that oxygen saturation increases.
